We had an amazing stay! Our family of 4 stayed here while friends stayed in the nearby Treetent. It was a perfect setup. The kids - 2 7yo’s, a 4yo, and a 3yo - had a blast running through the trees, checking out the fairy village, and hanging out by the campfire. We also enjoyed the day hike connected with the Fiery Gizzard trail. Looking forward to a return visit.

We loved our stay at the kitchen site! Grant was very accommodating and the site had literally everything you need. Bring your coolers full of food and drinks and pitch some tents and you are good to go. We had a large party. 4 tents and one couple slept in the yurt. They were much warmer in the insulated yurt than we were in our tents. The shower was just what I needed on the day before our departure. We would definitely go back!

What an absolutely lovely place! We loved being able to cozy up in the yurtle, cook our meals, and have a nice shower. The property is beautiful. Pretty sure there’s magic in the waterfall. I’d recommend this place highly!

Grant was an excellent host. The property and Yurtle with an outdoor kitchen, was beautiful., It is perfect for a couple or a group of family and friends, designed to entertain. There are plenty of hiking trails and a private waterfall. It’s a short drive into Tracy City if you forgot any item to cook. I loved that Grant has been very intentional with his property and designs, integrating recycled objects into his properties. There is no internet but can be accessed close to the road in the event you need contact for emergency or checking in briefly. I would recommend any of his housing options.

We had such a great time on Grant's land!! A group of 13 of us came down for a 30th bday weekend and this place was perfect. Grant was extremely helpful, responsive and very friendly. It was easy to tent camp and car camp + the kitchen had everything we needed to make a big dinner. We will certainly be back!

We loved staying at the Outdoor kitchen and yurt. Liked it so much that we reserved it for Spring Break. Grant and Sarah were super nice,friendly, and helpful. They want their guests to have a great time. The property is absolutely wonderful.

My friends and I had a great time staying at this campsite! The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed, even a mini fridge! One night it rained and our tent was soaked! Thankfully the yurtle created a secure sheltered for us! One of our favorite parts was swimming under the waterfall! It was absolutely mesmerizing! And last but not least, Grant and Becky are the best hosts! They always were checking on us or easy to reach if we needed anything! We definitely will be back! Thank you for the hospitality!

Wonderful vibes, Grant and his wife were so kind and accommodating. Yurtle itself was a bit more open than we had anticipated, but the kitchen was amazingly convenient and the surroundings unbeatable. Would happily return!

Great place, fantastic hosts. We only spent one night at the camp, but the group loved it. We toured the waterfall and a bit of the area. Had a nice conversation with the owners and learned a bit of history. We enjoyed the experience.

We had a great time staying on Grant's property. Grant was very friendly and accommodating. Even my dogs liked him and they don't like anyone. The "Yurtle" was really cozy. We stayed dried and secure, despite some really nasty weather. The private waterfall is amazing and I had so much fun exploring with the dogs. We will definitely be back.

I just want to give this campsite and host all the stars - this is a five star camping destination for SURE. Every detail about the Outdoor Kitchen + Yurtle has been created with comfort in mind and Grant, our super-duper-host is always thinking of how to make it even MORE magical. I think next up on his project list for this site is the outdoor shower - so cool! With a site like this you bring less gear and have a better time than most "primitive" experiences because he's thought of all that! Kitchen stuff, he has it. Tent, it's PERFECT and could sleep five if needed. The Yurtle isn't bouncy like a trampoline - but it's soft and comfortable because it is technically ON a trampoline. There's hot water - so that feels FANCY - but you are also very connected to nature (even while feeling cozy!). Our weekend was wonderful - we just ran out of time to explore all this land has to offer. One quick trip to the gigantic waterfall wasn't enough. We could have packed lunches and spent all down down there! I highly recommend you plan to spend some time with Grant, exploring everything he and Becky have built. It's just amazing.

Lovely site and lovely host. Grant and Becky were so accommodating. My husband and I threw together a last-minute road trip to the Smoky Mountains and found this site somewhat on the way. Even though it was just a day's notice, Grant was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. The site was nice and private. Kitchen is decently stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils, disposable dining were, sink, grill and griddle. Yurtle was comfortable and bug free, very spacious for just the two of us. Clean outhouse and best of all -- short hike to a small but high waterfall! Isolated and idyllic, great for a refreshing shower. Don't wear flip flops! Too slippery.

Our family had a wonderful time at grants property! Grant was amazing! Very welcoming and accommodating. Even took us all on a ride in his gator. The kids requested we go back one day And deemed the host grandpa grant cause they loved him so much. Beautiful property with structures made by the host himself and a waterfall on site! Can’t wait to go back.
