“The Beech” Treehouse

The house is centered “ON THE BEECH” tree.  This shot is through the open kitchen French doors.

Amenities and Features

  • Amazingly  efficient  space  utilization.
  • Utilities:  Hot/Cold Running Water, Heat and Air Conditioning, LED lighting throughout
  • A well-equipped kitchen with a prep/dining table on wheels that can be rolled out  to the  semi-ouitdoor  living/dining  space for a picnic Or inside  kitchen dining in inclement weather.  
  • Kitchen  appliances:  2-burner hot plate, microwave oven, coffee maker, Kitchen Sink, pots, pans, dishes and utensils
  • Indoor  Bathroom with hot water shower and sink, 
  • No-Smell  Composting  Toilet  in  adjacent  outhouse.
  • Cozy  Sleeping  Loft  with  8-Ft  Ceiling  and big  windows  with  amazing  views
  • Sleeps up to six (queen bed in sleeping loft, double folding mattress below loft, Double Futon/Couch in living area.
  • Add another queen sized bed in adjacent Hamlin and an amazingly large group of eight can share this campsite.
  • 140  wooded  acres,  lookout  points, Indian  Rock  Houses  and three majestic  waterfalls.


The  photo  gallery  below  tracks  the  costruction  of  The treehhouse    For me, it’s been more of an art project than house construction.   I think artistic improvements will likely occupy my time in retirememt for years to come.
