Hamlin was built from the frame up by our best friends who are industrial design artists. It features unmatched attention to detail in artistic rustic farmhouse design and decor.
It represents the finest in “Glamping” (glamorous camping) especially due to its prime location at the top of Miller’s Falls.
Parking is in the woods, a short walk across the footbridge.
Hamlin has no running water unless you consider the sound of rushing water in the creek and waterfall. So we provide plenty of fresh water for the kitchen sink. Though it has no shower, many of our guests have delighted in a refreshing shower at the bottom of the waterfall.
A composting toilet is located in a separate enclosure just a few feet away.
Don’t worry, you’ll find many of the comforts of a larger home with its own tiny fridge, air conditioner, heat and a luxurious memory foam double bed.
The kitchen is well supplied with a double hotplate, pots, pans, utensils and more.
Just outside, you will find a firepit that completes the glamping experience. The woods are full of, well, ... wood for the gathering, so you don’t need to buy any.
Tiny houses are small, but noted for utilizing every cubic inch to efficient advantage. A large table pulls out from under the sleeping loft to make a spacious dining nook. If you have wondered what the Tiny House phenomenon is all about and wanted to see what living in one would be like, you won’t find a nicer one. And you don’t need to take my word for it.
